PANAMA CITY — Fueled by a love for his Palestinian heritage and drive for success, Taste the World owner and head cook Saleh Nofal is challenging customers — who affectionally call him “Sal” — to embrace his Mediterranean cuisine.
“I challenge any customer from any country to eat my food and they will like it. ... And then the next morning, I’m here prepping fresh vegetables. ... I work seven days a week, open to close every day. I’m the head cook, chef, manager and owner.”
